Refugee Leadership Training

Helping Refugees Become Better Community Leaders

Refugees learn to support their communities through specific curriculum centered around Government, Community and Family

SLCC offers both a youth and adult 10 and 15-week course to ensure the refugee communities are creating leaders for tomorrow and for the next generation.

Topics center around 3 pillars—Government, Community, and Family leadership.  Each week subject matter experts instruct students on topics like public speaking, conflict resolution, budgeting & finance, government and civics, and community resources.
