About the Presenter Emily:
Emily Ashby is a small business and marketing strategist and has over 20 years in the private, non-profit, and public sectors leading organizations to find success.

As a small business owner, she received a patent for a product and built her sales through social media channels.  Since then, she helped launched the Digital Marketing program at Ensign College, taught the Banking On Women program at the Utah Microloan Fund, was a Marketing Advisor at the Small Business Development Center, was the Marketing Director for Jan Garbett’s campaign for governor (2020) and has taught classes for the Women’s Business Center, University of Utah, and area Chambers of Commerce.

Emily holds a MA in Community Leadership/Nonprofit Management, and is a Small Business Strategist.

Emily’s passion lies in supporting “micro business” owners who are working to start or grow a business with limited time and resources.

She has coached over 500 entrepreneurs over the past 8 years and specializes in finding innovative ways to turn ideas into action.

When not busy working, Emily enjoys watching high school baseball (Go Rams!) and hiking with her 2 dogs up Millcreek Canyon.
